Yuri Ng is a Hong Kong-born independent artist working across drama, dance, music, film, Cantonese opera, a cappella theatre, stage and costume design.
A former dancer with the National Ballet of Canada (1983 – 1990), he co-founded Yat Po Singers in 2012 and served as Artistic Director of City Contemporary Dance Company from 2021 to 2024.
He is known for pioneering the upcycling of dance costumes, beginning with Helen Lai’s “Very Dance” (2009) and continuing in recent works such as “Our Immortal Cantata.”
